Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) & Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)
ABOUT THIS SERVICE
PRP is created from a person’s own blood, and is a concentrated blend of plasma cells and specific growth factors to promote collagen growth to regenerate tissue, tighten skin and rejuvenate the texture of the skin.
Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is an advanced form of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) that is used to treat hair loss. PRF is also created from a person’s own blood and contains platelets, white blood cells, fibrin and stem cells which makes it a natural and effective treatment for male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness, hair thinning and postpartum hair loss.

Common Questions
-
The effects of PRF hair loss treatment can last anywhere between 6-12 months. Much will depend on the cause of your hair loss, how advanced your hair loss is, your overall health, stress levels, wellbeing and genetic factors. On average, the effects should last up to a year.
-
For the typical hair loss patient, 4 PRF treatments spaced about a 6-8 weeks apart are usually recommended. This is then generally followed by quarterly treatments to maintain the results for the first year. After a year, the PRF treatment frequency can be reduced, based on the specific hair regrowth of the patient.
